about

The EP includes the original 5 piece band, which saw Freaks go live throughout the mid 2000's, with the added value of strings and horns, and including a rather talented Chris Storr, who toured extensively with Kid Creole and the Jools Holland Big Band.

The song deals with the frustration of the big city and is very much inspired by the Big Band sound.

Having Derricks name written all over it, it was only natural that he should be the person to remix it. Taking the Tom Moulton route for the original, and reworking the parts for an extended version. Then remixing it to varying degrees of Carterness.

It's a partnership that’s spanned 20 years, a label (MFF), 3 albums and countless EP's on Playhouse, Hot Creations +++ ... more
