about

The original Freaks track “The Creeps –You’re Giving Me” was released back in 2003, taken from the duo’s 3rd album, “The Man Who Lived Underground” and featured Stella Attar and 012 aka Diz Washington vocals.

In 2004 a 12” was released featuring remixes from Steve Bug and Justin Robertson and a further 12” came in 2006, with the Lee Coombs remix.

This new release features these original vinyl-only remixes, never previously released digitally, along with a fresh new cut from Affani for 2020, which saw rotation by Carl Coxin Ibiza during the summer of 2019.

With a major musical influence from DJs like Frankie Knuckles, Fast Eddie, David Morales and other pioneers of house from the 90's, Ibiza based Affani’s more recent productions such as “The Katt” have seen support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Loco Dice, Roger Sanchez, Yousef, Groove Armada, Technasia, Chus & Ceballos, to name a few.

It's a partnership that’s spanned 20 years, a label (MFF), 3 albums and countless EP's on Playhouse, Hot Creations +++ ... more
